Mustard Rub is a blend of the finest yellow mustard flour, salt, sugar, black pepper and other spices. It is gluten-free and contains no added artificial ingredients, preservatives or colours.
Add sparingly to meat, seafood and vegetables for added flavour. For use with meat it is advisable to let the meat rest after application. For seafood apply before cooking; likewise with vegetables.
Mustard Rub can also be used as a garnish, or to add heat to dishes. It can also be mixed with liquids (such as soy, honey, vinegar, wine and Worcestershire Sauce) and used as a marinade.
The rub will keep for at least two years but it is important to keep it in a dry environment and tightly reseal the container after use.
Mustard Rub is available in 100g glass jars and 800g food grade plastic tubs. This product is not, at present, bar coded.
